CEO - COURTNEY STEWART
Courtney Stewart is one of the music industry’s rising young minds. Having worked in the business for over 12 years, the Atlanta native has built an impressive resume of clients and accreditations. In 2005, Stewart’s career took flight while managing R&B artist Bobby Valentino (also known as Bobby V). Under Stewart’s management, Bobby V landed his first #1 record “Slow Down”. The track became one of the biggest R&B songs on the 2005 Billboard charts, which attributed to the success of Bobby V’s self-titled debut album, which sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Since the release of Bobby V’s first album, for which Stewart also served as the A&R, Bobby Valentino went on to release four more successful albums, a string of #1 hits, and iconic features including “Mrs. Officer” with Lil Wayne. Stewart has also represented some of the music industry’s top producers such as Cubeatz, Syk Sense, and OZ who have produced for hit-makers including Drake, Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy, Bryson Tiller, Travis Scott, Wiz Khalifa, and more. Most recently, Stewart is responsible for the success of one of 2017’s biggest breakout stars, Khalid. The critically acclaimed 19 year-old singer-songwriter’s debut album American Teen is certified Platinum, his first single “Location” is certified Triple Platinum, and his current single “Young Dumb & Broke” is certified Platinum by the RIAA. Khalid has sold-out both of his headlining tours, he has over 1 billion streams worldwide across all partners, he is one of two solo teenagers to reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200 in the last 12 months, and he has also been featured on a number of collaborative songs including mega hits “1-800-273-8255” with Logic and Alessia Cara, and “Silence” with Marshmello. Additionally, Khalid was nominated for a 2017 BET Award for Best New Artist, a Teen Choice Award for Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Song for “Location”, a 2017 American Music Award for Favorite Song—Soul/R&B for “Location”, and he recently won Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards. Khalid’s success over the past year has led to Stewart’s inclusion in Billboard Magazine’s 2017 Top 40 Under 40 Power Players in Music.
